Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement

By accessing or using Glimpse ("the Service"), operated from Belgium, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including individuals and organizations.

2. Service description

Glimpse is a competitive intelligence platform that monitors publicly available information about companies you choose to track. This includes website changes, blog posts, job postings, social media activity, advertising, pricing pages, tech stack, and more. Signals are delivered via the Glimpse web application, Slack integration, and email digests.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • One person or organization may not maintain more than one free trial account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or networks.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm another person or organization.
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without written consent.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service beyond normal API usage.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Glimpse. You retain ownership of any data you upload or create within the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6. Competitor data

Glimpse monitors publicly available information. We do not access password-protected content, private systems, or confidential data belonging to the companies you track. You are responsible for ensuring your use of competitive intelligence complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

7. Payments and billing

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
  • All fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

8. Free trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to the Service. No credit card is required. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service. We may modify or discontinue the free trial at any time.

9. Third-party integrations

The Service integrates with third-party platforms such as Slack. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third party's terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability or functionality of third-party services. You may disconnect integrations at any time from your settings.

10. Availability and support

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or updates. Support is available via email at support@glimpsehq.io.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Belgian and EU law, Glimpse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.
  • Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. Any disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Belgium. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under EU law.
